An upright, spreading, deciduous shrub growing 10-12' tall and 8' wide. Flowers are strap-like, occurring in late February or early March. They are bright, light yellow with a light fragrance. Fall foliage is yellow. Good used as a specimen, in the border or in front of dark evergreens.
