Comments: This deciduous shrub grows slowly to 12' tall by 5' wide. Medium-green summer foliage may take on an outstanding tinge of orange and red in the fall. Flowers are borne in drooping, stalked clusters, 2" wide, in late April/May. Petals fuse to form small hanging bells, red to pink in color. Touted for more colorful bell-shaped flowers than are normally borne by the species.
