Comments: This vigorous hybrid is resistant to Eastern Filbert Blight, has excellent kernel flavor and cold hardy. Usually attaining greater size than our native, up to 20' tall and can be trained as a small tree. Prized for its edible nuts, this selection has high nut yield, late maturity, and good quality. Male flowers (catkins) are showy in early spring as they elongate up to 4".
