Comments: A shrub reaching 5-6' in height. Leaves are bright green but early foliage emerges reddish purple. Flowers are fragrant, primrose yellow and bloom in early April slightly before the leaves appear. Due to late season frosts, best placed in protected area to ensure good flower display. Soil should be slightly acid to neutral and well-drained. Full sun to filtered shade.
