Comments: This deciduous shrub is an Ohio native found growing is wet soils and in riparian areas. Flowers appear in mid- to late spring opening yellow, then turning white, in flat-topped clusters followed by blue-turning-white fruits (drupes) which are usually more ornamental than the flowers. Fall color is red. An open growing plant useful for wildlife habitat and for growing in tough conditions.
