Comments: A small spreading, deciduous tree, 12' high and 15' wide in 30 years. New leaves are variegated in center with lime-green blotches turning green in summer. The 2" wide, four white flower bracts in June can persist for several weeks. Fruits are red, pulpy berries 1" across. Fall color orange-red. Upon maturity, the mottled gray-brown bark is very attractive. Best used as a specimen or accent plant. Brotzman's Nursery introduction.
