Comments: A small, vase-shaped, deciduous tree that was selected by the Hoogendorn Nursery of Rhode Island. Rated especially floriferous, sporting numerous, 2" wide, white petal-like bracts in late May. Flowers can persist for several weeks and give way to small, aggregate fruits that ripen strawberry-red in autumn. Leaves are lustrous, dark green in summer, taking on a purple tinge in autumn.
