Comments: A deciduous tree growing 20' high and wide. This small tree was introduced in 1964 and named after the late, great, nurseryman Henry Hohman (Kingsville Nursery). It is distinguished for its two-toned leaves which reveal medium green over yellow-green. Fall color can be an agreeable pink to dark red. Floral bracts resemble those of the species, opening white, 3-5" wide in May. Fruits ripen red. Best used as a specimen and placed in front of a dark background to accentuate flowers.
