Comments: A dense, erect shrub that grows slowly 3-8' high and 4-6' wide. Lustrous dark green leaves in late spring makes this an excellent companion plant for early-blooming herbaceous plants. Fragrant white flowers occur in abundance on multi-branched, tightly clustered inflorescence (4-6" tall x 3-5" wide ) in mid- to late August! Yellow fall color. A hardy plant for moist areas, shrub borders and heavy shade in acid soil.
