Comments: A strongly weeping form that grows to about 15-20' tall and often even wider. Foliage consists of opposite, simple, deciduous heart-shaped leaves, 2-4" long, unfolding purple-green changing to blue-green in summer. Fall color takes on a clean yellow tone. This fast growing species is primarily valued for its foliage and form while flowers and fruits are tiny and of little ornamental interest.
