Comments: A broadleaf evergreen shrub forming a broad columnar specimen 3-4' tall after several years. Off-white flowers open in early spring, are strongly fragrant and attract bees in large numbers. Winter foliage varies from deep green to bronze yellow-green. Is virtually immune to animal browsing. Fine specimen due to tolerance to heavy shearing, also functions well as screens and hedges.
