Comments: A broadleaf evergreen shrub growing slowly to only 2-3' tall and wide in 10 years. Leaves are glossy, medium green and densely crowd around numerous twiggy branches. Holds excellent dark green winter color. Selected by the former Charles Fiore Nursery of St. Charles, Illinois for its cold hardiness and durability in the upper Midwest. Quite resistant to deer and rabbit browsing. Makes a fine specimen plant, but also masses effectively in low borders and hedges.
