Comments: A seedling selected by Dr. John Baldwin at the College of William and Mary and named for him after his death in 1974. It has a vertical habit with small dense, bluish green leaves. It is reputed to survive very cold winter temperatures. A 15-year-old plant is 6' high, 18" wide and is a wonderful accent or specimen plant. Highly resistant to feeding from rabbits and deer.
