Comments: Sport of 'Compacta' who's leaves have a faint yellow border. Found and named in 1973 by Dr. John Baldwin. A compact, slow-growing evergreen shrub attaining only 3' tall and wide after many years. Flowers are creamy yellow, fragrant but not ornamentally significant. The flowers attract bees. Useful as a specimen in the rock garden or foundation. Highly resistant to feeding from rabbits and deer.
