Comments: A small, dense, slow-growing broadleaf evergreen shrub with a rounded form, staying about 1' high by 3' wide. Flowers not showy but are fragrant (some people find them unpleasant, but bees are attracted). Leaves sometimes bronze in the winter sun. Roots require cool moist conditions and remain near the surface so do not cultivate around this plant. Highly resistant to feeding from rabbits and deer.
