Comments: A semi-evergreen vine attaching to and climbing adjacent trees and shrubs by means of clasping tendrils. Can reach 30-50' tall in its native habitat. Funnel-shaped flowers form in late April/early May with colors ranging from brown to bright orange. Foliage consists of thickened, glossy, trifoliate leaves. Fruit ripens in late summer to early fall as 7" long thin capsules. A tough plant.
