Comments: A vigorous, deciduous tree that can reach 70' high. Conical while young, becomes more irregularly oval when older, retaining horizontal branching habit. Male and female flowers appear on the same tree. Woody, female cone-like strobili offers interesting winter effect. Attractive, very graceful form with deeply and finely cut leaves. Use as shade tree, specimen or in groups.
