Comments: A small tree that grows compactly to about 12' tall. Leaves are not as susceptible to the disfiguring leaf scorch as most other buckeyes. In May, many upright panicles of soft red flowers provide a show. Fruit is a shiny dark brown nut enclosed in a leathery husk.
