Comments: A small, deciduous tree growing compactly to about 12' tall and nearly as wide. Leaves not as susceptible to the disfiguring leaf scorch as most other buckeyes. In May, many upright panicles of soft reddish to reddish yellow flowers provide a show. Fruit is a shiny dark brown nut enclosed in a leathery husk. Use as a small shade tree.
