Comments: A small, slow-growing tree of rounded habit, attaining a height and spread of 20' in cultivation. The main difference between this and the species is that the leaves have yellow margins. Red flowers are arranged in 6-8" tall panicles in May. Fruit is a shiny brown nut enclosed in a yellow-green, slightly prickly husk.
