Comments: A large, fast-growing, upright deciduous tree with short, strong limbs. Such structure lends itself to a tree less subject to storm breakage. Can eventually reach 50-70' tall and nearly as wide. Fall color is usually yellowish green. A very adaptable tree best used where there is a lot of space to grow. Avoid planting near walks or drives do to surface roots. A great tree for poor soil sites where little else will grow.
