Comments: Habit is upright on this small, robust tree, which grows 15-20' tall and nearly as wide. This spreading deciduous tree is thought by some to have the best fall color of the Japanese maples. Its crisp, bright green spring leaves darken in summer then erupt into flaming crimson in fall. Resistant to summer leaf scorch. Excellent used along entry walks, patio or as a lawn specimen.
