Comments: Named for "fire red" foliage that holds color well in full sun. A medium-size, deciduous tree growing vigorously to 15' tall and wide. This selection is said to be a cold hardy, vigorous grower with deep red summer foliage reputed more resistant to leaf scorch as well as hot, sunny sites. Sun backlighting leaves lights up the plant. Use in the border or as a specimen.
