Comments: A rare snakebark maple that is rare not only as a species but this plant comes from cuttings off a variant variegated seedling originally coming from Chollipo Arboretum in Korea. Grows to about 12' tall and wide with graceful, slender branching giving a rather elegant look. Bark is green with white stripes. Foliage unfurls in spring a deep red, maturing to dark green with white splotches. Brilliant yellow fall color. One of the best snakebark maples.
