Comments: A broadly conical tree reaching a height of 60'. Found growing in its native habitat at about 3,500' above sea level in a mountainous region of Spain. Needles are stiff and arranged in whorls rather than rows, as is more common with firs. Winter buds tend to be quite resinous.
