Comments: Originally found in the Canaan Valley, close to Elkins, West Virginia, this is a tough and attractive variety. A narrow, conical conifer which can eventually reach 75' tall and 25' wide but at a slow growth rate. Color is dull green, although bluish strains have been found. This plant is becoming popular as a cut or balled and burlapped Christmas tree.
