Comments: One of the most striking of the many Knap Hill deciduous azaleas. This one grows 6-8' tall and 4' wide. The semi-double flowers are produced in mid- to late May and are 11/4" across and a vivid purplish red. The flower truss is a tight ball in form. Use as an accent or specimen planting .
