Comments:
This evergreen tree grows to 40' (sometimes taller) and has an open, conical form. Readily identified by its clusters of young shoots on the trunk. Needles appear yellowish green early, later turning dark green. Light brown cones, clustered 3-4, are 3-4" long and persist for 2 years or more. Seeds are winged.
